I know this has been mentioned before, but I just finally did it. On my CR I laid a bead of clear silicone around the glass part to the black plastic housing and MAN what an Improvement!!! No more jiggling and a PERFECTLY clear view. I actually set a small piece of plastic in the lower inside corners temporarily to maximize the position of the mirror for me, and only used silicone in the areas that the mirror is still lower than the plastic housing, so no need to go 100% around. Well well worth it! |

Sounds like a great idea. I think I'll do that to my cheap 30 dollar a mirror bar end mirrors I just purchased off of eBay. It also just might guarantee keeping the lenses from falling out too. |

Another good thing is adding a convex mirror to the outer tip of the mirror. It helps stop a lot of vibes and helps with giving visibility to the blind spot. |

I good trick I did was buy those rubber bungee cords. I cut the ends of the rubber cords (they taper out to hold the hooks) just short enough and small enough, then I wedge it in place between mirror and black housing. The wedge shape of the ends allows it to go in the space nicely but as it flares outwards it eventually gets tight and that's what holds it in place. I can easily remove it if I want to adjust mirrors. But it stays in place while riding. Since the rubber "wedge" is black & small, you can barely notice it's there. I used the same trick on my Corvette mirrors that liked to rattle and it worked like a charm both times. |

Can we get a picture of both of these methods? I can imagine the silicone one, but I'm just cant picture yours rogue. Sounds interesting though, I've got to figure these mirrors out. I had about given up on ever seeing anything thru my mirrors until I finally set up my suspension right, that actually made it a lot better. |
