I was getting ready to swap out wheel bearings last night and realized my puller was a 25mm, rather than the 1.125" for the 1125 rear. Jims does not make the 1.125" puller mandrel for their puller, so the question is: Is H-D the only source of the puller for this bearing? I'd like to use an actual puller rather than the tried and tested cave-man method if possible. (beat it out from the inside - which works, but is a little hard on parts and feelings of well-being) Thanks |

With careful use of the dreaded torch, they fall out..! Then, if you are quick, just a light tap with a mallet and new bearings are back home, in place. No muss, no fuss, no banged up wheels. Mike |
