If you were looking for a slip on exhaust. Nice deep loud tone. Affordable. What would you get? |

I'm stuck between the Drummer and the Barker. I like the design of the Barker and that it's a bit quieter than most with a nice curve. The Drummer also has a nice curve and is very pretty but loud and twice as much $$. In the end though all we are doing is chasing a couple of ponies that could be the difference between bikes (not all bikes even equiped the same post the same dyno runs ) and even dyno pulls on the same bike done back to back. Get what you like the look of and sound of. You are not gonna notice the diff in most of them with your butt dyno. IMO (Message edited by kinder on March 15, 2011) |

I'd spend the money on something thats actually useful, like a Erik Buell Racing ECM, or tires, or a trackday. |

Not to sound mean but how many threads are you going to start regarding exhaust? |

Not to sound rude but enough until I decide on what to do. It's an expensive decision. |

Aftermarket exhausts start to make sense when you want to put the bike on a diet, or you are getting pulled in a race. Until then, money is better spent elsewhere. For example, have you replaced your stock battery with a Lithium one? That saves close to the same amount of weight as most slip-ons, but does so at lower cost, especially when you factor in the need for the ECM. |

If you have the dosh get a system hand built by Dean Adams. If not get a Barker and Race ECM. |
