I see dealers, or at least the guys who work for them, spend a bit of time on this board. I'd like a quote for a XB9S tail section (bit with the cheese grater) including airmail shipping to Perth, West Australia (post code 6004). Got to be cheaper than locally... bloody tax! Thanks!

I got some prices from a dealer on the east coast of Australia, parts for an XB12S:
Race kit ecm 32620-03Y $607 AUD = US $421
" " air filter 29388-02Y $188 AUD = US $130
" " muffler 65218-03Y $1142 AUD = US $791
Tail Bag 91585-03Y $318 = US $220

The entire XB12 race kit on the US Buell website 82004-03Y is listed at US $655 = AUD $946 not the
approx AUD $1900 I've been quoted.

I can handle some freight charges and import duties but this doesn't look right. And it makes buying a Drummer package look real good even with big freight costs! Not committing to anything Brian but am interested and a price definitely helps. 3 more sleeps to picking up the XB12S but by the powers of Determination, Stubborness and Stealth I Must be able to Hear the Motor!! (I heard one today and it passes the noise regulations):(

Well - the part is a great price! But with the airmail postage, I still save AUS$35 - not much really. Sorry to be a nuisance, but any idea how much to post surface mail??? I know it'll take 8-10 weeks, but might just be worth the wait.
