Did you put the frame covers on because of damage or just for looks? The only thing that would really finish it off would be a cf cover for the frame piece that holds the shifter and heel protector. Normally I am not that fond of black but your bike looks awesome! |

Noface: That would be great! If it's not too much trouble I'd love them in black or dark grey. My e-mail's in my profile so we can work out any details. I've got the black XB9S and also have the sliders, this winter I'm gonna take the swingarm off and paint it black, and the heel protectors as well. The D&D is sweet, how do you like the sound? Is it a lot louder than the Buell pipe? Thanks... |

no face, Good job! looks sweet, You make me jealous I want to do the same thing but wont have the funds till sometime next year. Are those the carbon fiber trojan horse frame covers?? and did the front fairing come with the headlight bezels already installed? (just curious since my bezel broke when someone, not me, tipped over my bike)and let me know if the D&D takes care of the dip in the 3-4K rpm, thanks victor |

Leeaw, No, the frame hasn't a scratch. I was lucky I guess. I installed the Trojan Horse Carbon Fiber covers "in case" there is a next time. Plus I like the way they look (poser points) too. Glitch, I'll see what I can do. Likely all that's needed is the cost of materials and maybe a USPS stamp. Viros, Yea, those are the Trojan Horse covers. Call Dave in Waterloo and he can hook you up. The headlight bezels were included with the front fairing. I can't tell ya if the D&D has the 3-4k dip. I haven't got enuff seat time yet to give any good detail. I've only had it across town and back. Been too busy at the house lately. Plus, it's been about a month since I rode the bike with the race kit can, so it's hard to tell. It still does awesome 1st gear power wheelies, and it'll loop nailing second gear at 6500rpm if you want... The D&D sounds great. Louder than the Buell Race kit, but not as loud as a Force or Nallin Signature series. Kinda a happy medium. It's built like a truck, but still weighs a whole lot less than the race can, and you can still put a floor jack under it. Thanks for the tip on removing the stick on letters Rex. Maybe I'll try it. Glitch, if you would show up for BRAG rides you would have heard a D&D on a 9R last Sunday. then you could have helped pull it out of the ditch... |

Glitch, if you would show up for BRAG rides Sorry, but the biggest group I feel comfortable riding with are 4 or less... then you could have helped pull it out of the ditch... And that's why, I've been spooked by others too much here lately... |

Hey folks - newbie alert! I just picked up a Millenium X1 from a local guy. Just over 5K miles, and a really decent price. It's still 100% stock, so looks exactly like this brochure pic. When I manage to snap some real pics, I'll repost. |

Nevco1 - thanks for the support and the information. I had no plans of buying a bike this year, but when I saw the limited edition for sale, I snagged it. I didn't even know my friend owned it - well kept secret I guess! Mike M |

Bigsherm, Damn the bike is looking good. Did you do another polish job on the frame, it looks much brighter than the last pic I saw of it. Glitch, Those are great pics, where were you? Morgan |

Those were taken this past weekend just above Tuner's Corner. Up here in North Georgia. The one of Mike doin' a wheelie is behind a hotel in Dahlonega. Some friends of mine were up from Tampa with their ZRXs, fast bikes in the straights, but no match for us in the mountains... |
