Real men ride watercooled monsters. Tubers are for girls, XB's are for old men |

Damn, that means I am getting old (only riding the XB these days)! Well done Ricky, I hope she knows how spoiled she is. |

looks great. You will have to post pics with your girl on the bike. Nothing sexier than a women on her own ride. |

I think he means the water cooled 1125 that is a ticking time bomb with no readily available replacement parts because of outsourcing of Original replacement parts... Those watercooled monsters are Garbage. |

Interesting, my two ticking time bombs have been more reliable than my two air heads, and part availability has been the same. My father had a harder time getting a replacement original throttle grip for his 09 Electra Glide than I have for pretty much any Buell part over the last 5 years. If you want a real ticking timebomb with season long part wait times, gets a Suzuki GS500. |

Really, a "my bike is better than yours" thread. We are better than this. |

It is all in good fun But I was serious about waiting almost 3 months on parts for my 2 year old Suzuki. |

I figured you were just kidding Frank. I would hate to see a Bueller alienated because of joshing. You know there are not that may of us. While the HD vs Sportster crowd often jokes about "when are you going to get a real bike" or "a sporty is a girls bike" I have a feeling that just gets people pissed off. My point is, we are better than that. Having owned tubers, XBs and one 1125 I liked them all for different reasons. I did have my favorites but it is really just because of personal preference. I want to see pictures of the girl on the XB. I spent all day working around the house and Lynn is up in Denver for a seminar. I got a lot done but no rides today. Tomorrow is a different story I hope. Lynn needs to get out on her XB as much as I need to get on my tuber. |

Never had any trouble with my GS500(E). I did find the service cost for the valvel adjustments and multiple fork seal failures expensive in the three years I had the bike. Sure was a fun little bike, with I'd kept it for my wife, now that she's got her M endorsement she's not comfortable with either of our current bikes. Frank, we've had light rain here in Salt Lake all day, I imagine that will make it over to you by Sunday. Ride safe, it's just enough to slick the roads, but not so much as to get you very wet. |

Rain got here about 2 this morning... roads are wet but the rain stopped for now. I go in to work in an hour, hope I don't have to drive a cage. The only bikes I make fun of anymore are the slow, hard to maneuver Harleys. Ride far, ride often. Z |
