Thats a little help but the one Im looking for mentioned Buell losing money on each one they built |

I think that is mostly anecdotal. There were a lot of start-up costs going into production those first couple of years. I have never seen any proof that the S2's cost more to make than they retailed for. Maybe someone can prove me wrong. |

I was there, have every article written about Buell (at least since I arrived on the scene 23 years ago) and would be interested in that one. A great deal of the information in the American V article is entertaining . . . but not terribly accurate. The S2 was particularly special, and not entirely intentionally, as the result of what was happening at the time it arrived and the unintended consequences on the normal production process. One of my favorite instances of this commercial aberration was the M2 Cyclone. |

Retired, but once a lineman always a lineman, 40 years in the IBEW both contracting and with Montana Power. Cant believe I worked in this cold out here for 20 years |
