You should definitely do a search for that one. It's been covered before.
It's simple though. Pull a plug, let it drain, fill with some good synthetic 20-w50 motorcycle oil. I'm sure you can find the specifics elsewhere on here.

Nice work DF>

Welcome Ganthos!
Just remember no more than 1 3/4qts of oil with a regular oil change and that should put you at very full. 1 1/2 qts is a better place to start. But seriously, thats all it takes and between the lines on the dipstick is not a quart, its more like 8 ounces. Only check when hot, not just after idling for a few minutes. A Blast thats been sitting for a while (days, weeks) will show zero oil on the dipstick, but warm it up and its at full.

{"Only check when hot, not just after idling for a few minutes."}

And is it okay to check the oil level
with the engine running ?

LOL! You're mocking me arent you???

While it did say in the owners manual at one time to do that (it might still say it, but they took the manuals off the Buell website), the engine must be turned off!

Yeah, I just remember you usually point that out. But for me it was too late, cuz I did check it once with the motor running. Needless to say it made a mess, lol. Oh and welcome Ganthos! You will find so much helpful info on here it's mindboggling.
