Hi all, I've got a question for all of you that have purchased a set of Palmer brackets. How long did it take to get your order?

When Iain shipped the parts, he said "5 to 7 working days" That seemed awfully fast and I didn't expect them that soon.

It has now been 14 working days. 20 days total. Do you think I have a lost order?

Thanks, Murf2

I just got my brackets last Friday. It took a full month to get them! Of course, we had major snowstorms and closed airports during that time. What a great product, though. I got the black powdercoated brackets with the tool-less adjusters. Super easy to adjust.

Depends on the mood customs is in. Sometimes its 2 weeks, other times it can be a month. There is a thread recently regarding a sponsor from the Netherlands having about a month shipping times.

Yet you can get a potentially explosive battery on ebay from Hong Kong in a few days...

The levers I ordered from HongKong hit the States on 01/18 but I didn't actually receive them until 02/23. It took a month for Customs to clear them.

I've had the same problem with parts from the U.K. for a couple of old bikes. Oddly, my Palmer order came in less than a week but that was about a year ago.

I found a company in Nova Scotia that seems to have a direct pipeline for Triumph parts from the motherland and that has reduced my wait for Lucas electrics. Not entirely sure why bringing it through Canada first has helped but it has, at times.

One of our major customers in Europe sent back one of our development boards (we design and make electronic chips for various things). They shipped it to us nearly six weeks ago, it just hit our shipping dock this week. It spent nearly five weeks in holding at the customs station here in the US. Not sure what's going on, but obviously customs must be backed up.

When I got my bracket a couple of years ago for my Uly, I had them in about a week.

Yeah - last year got my brackets & windscreen from Iain in 10 days to NW US - Customs must be backed up or VERY wary for some reason.

I'll have to dig it up, there was details about some new law that went into effect a few months ago that is causing the increase in clearance times.
