Hello all. Been lurkin for awhile. I have a 1998 S1W with V&H exhaust, Super E carb and a chain conversion. Two weeks after buying the bike I registered it in the Texas Mile and did 134.8 on it. Still upgrading and loving this bike. (Message edited by Spiderman13 on February 22, 2011) (Message edited by Spiderman13 on February 22, 2011) |

That is a cool shot! Can you list your upgrades that helped you do 135? Also what is that Tx Mile deal? Looks like fun. |

I didn't do a whole lot really. Stock height and suspension. Went from a 72 to 74 jet and ran 103 oxygenated VP race gas. 43/20 sprockets. Home made steering dampner mount that turned right good but not left, lol. Gearing and fuel were the big things. With a 43/21 combo and av gas I passed the mile at 5500 rpm and 127mph. The 135 run was at 6300 with 103 gas and the 43/20. |

They will have an event at the end of may. Now for a stupid noob question...I found the the help section and edited my post to link the pic correctly but all I see is a blue ? In a box. Plus do you have to login EVERY time you do something on this board? |
