Jon are you really that dumb, he could easily buy a stock X1 seat off eBay for around 70 and make an even larger profit. | ||

Careful who you call dumb, 1250. I'm fairly certain you would not speak to me that way in person. Why would you expect this guy to sell you his seat and then go hunting for a replacement? His bike will have a better chance of selling with the seat in a market that has been very unfriendly to X1s. He will need all the mods he can muster to move that bike for a decent price. | ||

Yeah, that's the ticket.. Try to sell th bike without a seat. Then go looking for a new one and hope to find a good one in nice shape. It wouldn't be worth the hassle to me. I know, i just sold an x-1 The corbin i sold was an extra. the seat went with the bike. One should be careful about name calling. You never know if you may want to deal with or meet that person in the future. Myself, i never forget an insult/ Maybe forgive, but never forget | ||

1250_x1 I still have the factory seat, but until I sell it I plan to keep riding it, and it is way nicer than the original. As for the headlights, the lights and windshield are factory parts off a newer lightning, the original owner installed them. I believe he built the brackets, they look really good. I'll send pics if anyone wants them. Also, I'm open to trades, let me know what ya have. | ||

1250, I will admit to being a smart ass, but a friendly one. The X1 of all the bikes Buell has made (with the possible exception of the S1) really really needs the Buell upgrade or a Corbin. The stock seat is terrible. No doubt you have an X1 as I have and need a better seat. The Corbins will bubble to the surface from time to time. I had the good fortune of buying one from one of Badweb's finer members. Keep looking and one will show up with your name one it. Djw, I and others would really appreciate the headlight and bracket pics. There are not many significant mods for the X1 that I like, but I could add this mod to the list. Here's a question for X1 owners: How many people bought the hand beaten aluminum undertray that Trojan used to offer? I did. I have never seen one on any other X1. | ||

Andrew, It is my understanding that the seat that you are interested in will not be available after the sale happens. Jon, Do you have any pics of said aluminum undertray?
