My ? is about running accessories like gps, ipod's or any other electronic devices I may need. How do you wire these up to run when the bike is running or key on? Most devices prolly depend on the amount of current needed to run them. I'm wondering how you guys did this. thanks

There's suppose to be a 12v source behind your fairing somewhere. I did see it when I installed my hid lights. You might have to take your fairing off to get to it.

There is a factory 12v accessory plug up under the flyscreen. You can get an Ulysses cigarette outlet from a dealer, it plugs night into the socket, allowing you to use any accessory with that outlet. I recommend getting it anyway, that way you can hard splice into the extra plug, and worst comes to worst you wouldn't destroy the factory wiring.

This circuit is controlled by the ECM, and will not activate unless your key is on, kill switch is on, and you have over a certain voltage.

Actually more directly, can you buy that plug without the cigar lighter receiver?

$15 for the plug with outlet as shown in the second pic above. Good news is, you already own the plug. As you can see in the first pic, there is a dummy one used as a dust cover for it on the bike, just remove it and insert some pins.
