I went to the paint shop a few days back to get an appointment setup and try and go over a few color choices... came up with a few and they are 1971 plum crazy off the Cuda with the black stripes down the side, the typical white with the blue stripes down the top, or a flat blue....anyone want to give a shot at photo shopping the plum crazy one with the little horizontal stripes on a 08 frame. I am not real picky about great detail just the basic idea of colors. |

I don't want to go to that extreme. Just a simple paint and some stripes. That bikes is just over the top....cool but not my taste. |

I guess I'm lucky, I have a few friends in the spray business and a few in the tattoo business.. I just bought a spare top fairing and rear fairing for the "R" and I plan to give them (plus theside fairing kit) to a mate for him to spray a big American flag running the full length of the bike but in Silver and Black and covered in Black Lacquer to make it a bit more subtle.. He reckons about $450 should do it.. He's already painted a few of my bies in the past so i know he's gooood! |

Nice detail. The price that I was giving was $125 plus the paint. I don't think that is an unfair price. I would only be doing the plastics. I believe that I could get it all done for less then $300. |
