Thinking about changing mufflers this year and would like any comments on the sound and build of the muffler.

LOL he just came out with them, I don't think he has built more than one yet!

Anyway, I have the 1125 version of the pipe. Sound - fantastic, build quality is great. Dean knows what he is doing and uses good components. His welds aren't as nice looking as those on Drummer and some other pipes, but he has been getting better.

Here is the 6th pipe he made, which I got about a year ago.

You mean like this one?

Yes, it's a nice piece. I say it's comparable to an Odie/Special Ops pipe. XB9er says it sounds like a Drummer/KDFab pipe.

Either way, with it being stainless, you won't have to worry about it rusting like the stock OEM can.

In full disclosure, I polish all of the pipes that are ordered as a full polish. Dean's welds have gotten better. Just like anything else, the more you do it, the better you get. Check out the welds on the mid pipe. Nice.

As you can see from the pics in the other thread, the front semi circle mount is not used. Think of it this way, that's one less hose clamp to break. The rear still uses the double clamping OEM system.

It's a pretty strait forward install. Drop the old can off, remove from semi circle mount. Install mid pipe. Install Stainless KEDA pipe. Gain around 10% more horsepower!

Dean has mentioned that he's thinking about making his own can/shell instead of using a Magnaflow can. He is just seeing if there's enough of a demand before laying out the money to inventory the raw materials required to make them.
