This "sensitive & caring" comment was not made to help you understand the relative safety of our passion - it was a jealous comment made in an effort to "control" you. Some people are like that. They don't care what you do or don't do - they get their thrill from influencing others, or making them do or not do something - any change they can get you to do gives them a feeling of accomplishment. It's straightforward intimidation via guilt. On the other side of the discussion, there are a lot of people who die years before they are buried. Stay alive in body, mind and spirit and your kids will enjoy you even after you are gone. God bless you brother. X. |

Never stop riding. Well over 100K miles of street-riding behind me...I never know if I'll be coming back from any ride I take...and that's part of why I keep riding... Every ride is a test you only get to take once. So far I'm getting straight A's |

I'm 56 now, but when I was 27, I left 3 teeth and picked up some pieces of the road on Mt. Palomar in an act of stupidity. I still have a little bit of California in my leg and I still ride. I won't stop riding until I can't push a Start button, but that's me. If it's in your blood, you can't walk away from it. Z |

lol technically it is a true statement. If you die on your bike you can't be a father. You also cant watch TV or eat pizza either but either way a true comment. |

Do as RPM4x4 says; Wear a helmet, Ride sober, Keep your speed in check. |
