I had an unfortunate tip over accident in my garage and smashed up the clutch cover. It bent up the metal so I can't just replace that plastic cap. Does anyone know where I can find this replacement part? I have a 2008 and I hear they changed the design for 2009, made the 2008 design obsolete, and it would require some new internals as well. Any help?

I think the cover is still the same, just different puck and internals. Here's the puck. http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/18032.html And the decal. http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/18033.html Internals. http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/18048A.html I looked on fleabay but the only ones there were rashed up pretty bad. Might try another sponsor (HD dealer) to get the actual cover. |

I just replaced my 08 cover because mine fell over in the garage with a box end wrench on the bleeder. The old cover, which I still have, leaks slightly at the bleeder valve. I had to buy a new cover from the dealer. The internals are the same if you have already done the upgrade for the leaking clutch. |

Thanks for the input. That cover looks good lovedabueller. And yes I need to take care of that heat shielding, the adhesive came loose apparently and its peeled back, not excess material that needs a trim. |
