PM Easyrider (Dris), he should be able to help you with disabling the throttle assist. |

Been a while but try the following. Using Tunerpro In flags, unset: Active Intake Control Configuration: Use ramp-out value as initial duty cycle, then ramp to 0 (Message edited by stimbrell on February 01, 2011) |

active intake flags do not have an effect on the dashpot function. let me dig through my notes and see if i can get you in the right direction |

does your bike use a kick stand switch? the easiest way i know is to turn the quick shift function on. if you have a kick stand switch, that would create a problem using that method. i also need to know what eeprom version/layout you are using. |

give this a run and if it has it licked for ya. i turned the sidestand switch interlock off and turned the quick shift feature on. this should allow your bike to start and turn off the start aid. if not, let me know and i will dig in farther. i remember when i got my ebr ecm, i had the start aid off and i played with the eeprom ALOT to get it back on and the quickshift was the final piece of the puzzle that i had to change |

Gemini don't forget that other area to make the Quick shift fully working on short shift and the pit lane speed lock. It was a bugger to get and been a while since I did it in the tunerpro. I did preset it in the one tool(mono) but its missing that last step to work 100%. I did a side by side of a working version and non working to find all the hex values to set. the milliseconds table is the missing link. you know the stuff those others guys didn't get from our circle. Also the pit lane speed you have to do in Tunerpro or the race ecu/pcm tool. Glade you got this guy fixed up!!!! another happy camper power of the Espy/Tpro guys. |

i don't have any experience with the quick shifts. never had a use for it nor the pit lane speed function. i found through trial and error trying to get the dashpot function back on my ebr ecm, that the quick shift function had priority over the dashpot. meaning in the config and layout that i was using, with all values matching the stock ecm for idle control as well as dashpot, the dashpot would nit function until the quick shift was turned off. like many things that are done with computers, i am sure there are other ways for drhelix to turn off the dashpot. this was the one way that was fresh in my mind and i was able to go right to. not even sure what input is used from the rider to turn on and off the pitlane speed function. i understand the quickshift inoput is shared by the side stand switch? |

you need a harness and spare ecm to link to the program, then use that as a test load changes. I do this on my ecms as a mocked up bike. This allows testing and adjustments through potentiometers and ect to see live results. I'm just saying... I am busy with school doing Pc stuff changing Job fields, but Gemini has this under control. I'm butting out. Its all in Tunerpro except page one and the end of the last page. We did that on purpose... Note: I have another tool not shared yet it allows you to make a hybridize ecm by mixing and matching the different firmwares into a single ecm... A complete new concept. Testing now. so far its 100%. you can take the buezd data and the bue2d data and blend them as one picking which you want as the base keeping that firmware name. this puts the data into the choice firmware from the incorrect firmware data to the correct cell locations. The program is not named yet for the final name. |

So how can i get the description for the first and the end of the last page of the eeprom? |

drhelix, i need the most current eeprom so i can try to figure out what went wrong. as for the other part of the eeprom, it's left hidden/uknown because of the nature of the information that is stored there. vin, odometer, security bite info. no info in there to help tune the bike or make it run better. the only use for that info would be for illegal purposes. now that is a broad statement and does not apply to everyone but those are the reasons that this area of the eeprom is left in the dark. |

Iīm asking for the page cause I have differences in 0d30, 0d3e and 0d3f but this could be the odo. What could you do illegal with the eeprom except to change the kilometers.... Iīm this week Italy for a job. I try to let my girlfriend download it from the bike... this will be funny. |

the eeprom i sent you and the last one you posted are identical. which is good. that means only one thing of three things. 1)our first attempt to get rid of dashpot didn't work and you misinterpreted success. 2)the ignition wasn't properly cycled before your test drive after you restored our first attempt, or 3) the dashpot is deactivated and you misinterpreted the bike function after restoring our first attempt to having dashpot when it didn't. when you get back home, take it on another ride and see how it does. |
