I am wanting to get new, more comfortable pegs for my CR. I know a lot of guys were using the Uly pegs but don't know if they are still readily available. I also spoke with American Sport Bike at one point and they recommended that I use cycle pirate pegs (I think). I am in a part of the world with limited internet and phone service and am trying to order some pegs to be ready for me when I get home. Can you guys tell me your preffered pegs and where you got them? Websites, part numbers, and cost would all be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Uly pegs are the best in my opinion. 1 in. drop and a nice large platform for your foot. Comfortable as can be.

Most folks want want their feet to be lower which extends the legs a bit. I am using OEM lightning pegs, they match the rear pegs and are 1" lower. As a side benefit they are the least expensive.

Uly pegs are also 1 inch lower and have a wider base.

Cycle Pirate pegs are a lot like rearsets in that there is a wide range of adjustment. you can move the pegs up, down, back, forward. these pegs are the most expensive of the three.

Not mentioned is http://www.knightdesignllc.com/
These guys are Bad web sponsors and they make pegs that drop more than 1 inch.

Hope this helps.

I got mine from Knight Design (forum sponsor): http://www.knightdesignllc.com/

Don't have one complaint and haven't looked back ... or to any other peg/rearset for that matter.

I got the black Sidetrax II with a 1" drop for my big self (6'3" with a 33' inseam): they're machined out of a slid block of 6061-T6 aluminum and the black anodized finish has held up really well to my abuse.

I use Precision Engineering's pegs. I like them a lot. About $110. They are also sponsors. http://www.preeng.com/xcart/product.php?productid= 26&cat=7&page=1

Cycle Pirates 360 kit is what you want. Completely adjustable. I set mine up at a 45 degree angle back and down and now I can tuck my knees into the tank for the first time lol. Makes a huge improvement in how I can move around while riding and there is no ground clearance issue.
