I'm looking into buying an EX warranty for my 1125. I sorta remember discussion here about this for pricing. I'm not looking for debate if I should or should not buy one, more about if this can be shopped or not. Any info from sponsoring dealers or others would be appreciated. Thanks |

Just like most things that dealers sell, there is a profit margin on the warranty. Sometimes you can get a break, sometimes not. It all depends on the dealer |

In my area, it's about $450/year, with a discount for purchasing more years at once. You have to extend it at least 3 months before the existing one expires. They give a discount if you join their club. The "tire" warranty was an extra $300 bucks, a one time payment, that will extend for as long as you maintain the warranty. |

PM me and I can send you the info you need. I just made a claim on mine for the clutch leak. Picked up the bike, making the repair, bring it back, could have a rental but no snowmobiles to be had! $50 bucks is the deductible. |

I just called on this and was told as long as I still have the factory warranty in effect and its about a grand for one year and up to almost two grand for five more years of coverage. |

Does this mean you can shop around dealers for the best extended warranty price? If that's the case, I'd love it if people could call up their local person and post what they find. I had spoken to one of the dealer's in my area, and as I posted above -- it's about $450 per year. That sounds better than $1000/year. |

This site is sensitive to non-sponsoring dealers names being posted. If you need to get the extended warranty, you need the right contact for the better price. I have managed to help in this. Pm me if you would like to know more. By the way I picked up a 5 year extension for $1250. Gives me piece of mind and easier resale if I sell. |
