I cut the lip off of each one...and it didn't work. Still leaking. I gave up. I met Texas_firebolt this morning and he's working on it, now. |

I tried the Jims and the same issue with them not sealing so i got new stock ones and they work perfect, on my bike and on a friends, on my friends we had the coughing problem so we put the idle quite high and did a few TPS resets (about 5 or 6) once the engine was at 160c we did the last reset and now the bike seems to work fine. |

I've got them on and they are working. I can see from this topic that it is hit and miss. |

I put seals in mine today. The first time I did it wrong. Spittin' and sputterin'. Second time I got help holding the throttle body in the right place. Then after I tightened it up. I put a mirror down the intake to make sure I didn't pinch a seal again. |

I used OEMs. |

I loosened off the primary side bolts a long way. Started the rear RH screw by hand. Pushed the TB down and back and started the front screw by hand. Tightened the primary side a bit to keep the flange level. It was no more difficult to tighten than it was to remove. They seem to be working. |

I also used rubber grease where they fit into the flanges. That may have made them easier to get on |
