Been trying to find a schematic type drawing of the 1125r, i have changed the front end and want to check all the measurements like wheelbase, height, rake, etc etc.

Anybody help please ?

Man, that's a big request. Most here probably don't have the right tools to do it.

What measurements are you looking for? I have some basic starting points I use for my track/race setup I can share.

Any info would be great please Jdugger, i have fitted the R1 front on now, but would like to check its still the same as stock, or as near as dammit, the only measurement i can find is axle to axle(wheelbase) being 54.6"

I'm at 54.5" so happy with that, looking for front ride height etc really

These two numbers should get you close. I have a high-precision inclinometer I could use to measure rake and all, but I find just recording the relative set-up info to be better.

My numbers are for use with a 180 rear tire:

Front axle center to top of triple: 692mm
Rear Shock Free Length: 325-328mm of shock in hand

So, what you want to do is measure the front from the center of the axle to the top of the triple with the bike on a stem stand so the forks are completely unloaded. This will eliminate the differences in fork travel and fork body length measurements like "tube above the top triple" will give you.

In the rear, pull the shock, and with it in your hand, measure center-to-center of the shock's length.

If you get both of these numbers as I have them above, on Diablo Superbike Pro or Diablo Supercora tires, you will roughly have my race setup as far as geometry, but might be off in terms of trail since I don't know the offsets of the R1 front end.

Be prepared to buy some adjustable offset triples to get the handling you want.

The guy who built my trips has kept the Buell dimensions just widened the yokes to accomodate the extra width, i'm hoping the bike will handle almost the same !

Thanks to both of you, thats given me a good start.
