Wanting to fit some smaller or flush mount turn-signals, (and bar-end mirror) hopefully ones that just wire them up and go, i.e. no additional relays or such. Any recommendations? | ||

I think some aftermarket signals you have to replace and solder the connecting half of your OEM signal wires. The OEM male/female connectors look larger than the ones that come with aftermarket signals. | ||

Wild1-I like your tail bag. Which one is that? And where did you get it? Duphukincati- I have the Oberon indicators and mirror comboand love them .They just look like they belong on the bike. Alittle on the expensive side though.Go to their site and check them out .I'msure you'll like them. | ||

If anyone has good working CR mirrors they're not using, let me know. I have them on my Uly, CR (duh), and M2L. Love em. Always looking for spares (and could use a set for the S1W)! | ||

Cant speak for the CR but on my "R" I simply cut the leads going too the mirror/signals and rerouted them to power the outboard lights in the fairing and put yellow bulbs in place of the white ones. R | ||

The tail bag is off my XB12r. The tail sections as with the airbox cover is the same. | ||

As far as the wiring goes, I went to the local electrical shop and took the stock blinkers down to match up the plugs and crimped them on. The new blinkers are just under the slots on the side of headlight plastic. (Message edited by wild1 on January 14, 2011) | ||

Thanks for the replies. The one thing I was wondering was the compatibility for the draw to aftermarket signals. As you can see in the video his seem to flash pretty rapidly. At first I thought he did not have the rears hooked up yet. No big deal, just enough for a LEO to wonder the same. | ||
