Avalaugh - the collector is what I'm wondering about. The collector is section where the front and rear exhaust gasses are collected and placed into the muffler/silencer. | ||

the collector on the left is the 'merged or spliced' the one on the right is the pressed one, both are round inlet and outlet   | ||

the chambered muffler with a spliced collector would be $870 inc delivery, i modded the headers on my bike so i would need more headers to mod for a full system, i do have a chambered system on my bike now, i will get a vid posted over the hols, i also have a chambered muffler with pressed collector ready to go, $715 inc delivery | ||

In the video it has a nice sound, and not nearly as loud as I first expected. Does it wake up quite a bit under acceleration? | ||

Just to clarify, it looks like the pipe in the pic in the first post is just bare metal, but when mounted on the bike, it's shiny. Is it accurate to assume that the quoted price is for the exhaust unpolished? | ||

i don't make any of them 'polished' the finish of the silencer skin is polished as i buy the sheet i can get the whole thing polished if need be | ||

Look what turned up today    All complete with clamps, springs, nuts and even a quiet core  Looked good in its raw form but i fancied giving it a polish, 1.5hrs later      I'm very happy, just need my yokes to turn up so i can rebuild the bike and fire it up, i will of course upload so footage, hopefully in early Feb Thanks Alan | ||

first ride of 2011 with my straight thru pipe, just like avalaughs, no baffles in, noise level on the bike is comfortable for all day riding if you use earplugs (which i do anyway), i think the wind noise is more intrusive than the exhaust, yes i know i need to clean the screen too, just trying out my new camera and mount, sorry about the sun too, i'll get out earlier next time | ||

Sounds great, we still have frost down this way ! My yokes turned up yesterday so this week will see the bike coming back together, so will get out on the bike before Feb hopefully | ||

That exhaust sounds really good! It's quieter and more mellow that my Barker (even with the quiet core in) and just has a nice overall sound to it. Soooo.. who wants to dyno it compared to their stocker? | ||

I will be doing this soon with Albert666, stock exhaust-stock ECM, stock exhaust-Erik Buell Racing ECM, APH exhaust-stock ECM, APH exhaust-Erik Buell Racing ECM Started putting my new yokes etc on last night, hoping to all be done by FEB |
