Does anybody want to sell me their OEM LED rear turn signals? I need it complete with the wiring intact. The dang dealer is taking its sweet time 2-weeks now and one of my aftermarket rear turn signal is broken. I just need them quick and cheap so I can ride legally without getting hassled. | ||

$25 each? Whatever you feel is fair. Are they new or used? I don't really care as long as they are the OEM and they work and are not damaged. I'll pay more for new. I just need them ASAP! I think it depends on what the state requirements are. When I built a chopper 2 years ago from the frame up I did a bit of research to find out what the requirements were for turn sigs, horn, etc. I haven't checked in a while so it may have changed but in VA if you have them installed they have to work, especially to pass inspection. Not installed and it's hand sigs. I took the sigs off the cafe racer that I completed this past summer and haven't been stopped. I think MD requires them no matter what. The cops where I live hate sportbikers. The California Highway Patrol sometimes conducts inspections at local sportbike hang outs to see if a bike is out of legal compliance to State Laws--lights, exhausts, mirrors, tires, etc. Problem is, many sportbikers ARE out of compliance; running around with no license, no mirrors, illegal turn signals, etc. I have enough speeding tickets so I want to avoid the additional hassles. | ||

1125 signals pre-10 are LED and they are my preference too. I cored my stock Uly rears and put in red LEDs, and run 1125CR mirrors up front. My S1W has aftermarket LED signals all around. The M2L just got CR mirrors but I have yet to core the rears. Its on the list. I can't imagine why you don't want to ride around like that, Froggy... |
