I just purchased a 2001 M2L w/ 3700mi. I am 5'10" & just thought it was a standard. My main concern is leg fatigue on long trips. I am thinking of selling in spring & getting a standard M2. Any thoughts, opinions appreciated. |

I think the main difference between the two bikes is the seat (the suspension is slightly lower with the M2L but that alone wouldn't affect your seating position). Get a standard M2 seat and you will be good to go. Kilroy |

I am 6'3" and also bought an M2L by mistake. I wanted to go through the whole exercise of changing forks and etc. but it was way too much trouble, and you know what? The M2L is pretty high itself. I have a couple of short friends who find it awkward. I don't have any trouble with the legroom. I'd say ride it for a while and see. |

I'm 5'10. You shouldn't have any problems. |

Or the opposite: I'm way over the notion of flat-footing on any Buell, except a Blast. At 5'-6", if I felt the need to get both feet fully down, I wouldn't be on Buells. |
