Yes Dasxb9s I did take 1st but there was little competition, a totaly stock dirty plain red black and grey Honda took second over my wifes brand new shiny xb9s and Richies bike. I was surprised it even placed as dirty as it was, my wife said it was a prety color combination and the winners were all by peoples choice and not judges. There were about 120 bikes in the show and about that many more that did not enter. I guess the windy cool cloudy day kept people away. |

Who the hell are we still missing in that list?...I thought there were twelve...And unless we count Bill twice as he seems to want that's still only eleven... Hey, you guys should give this a look...The ride on Saturday is 300+ miles of alphabet soup...And one of them is the infamous KK...Fifteen miles that can see triple digits all the way with sprints to "how big are they"?...For $35 you get the rally and one year membership, dogs and chili Friday eve, a sit down Saturday and ride home Sunday...I'm sure we could put you up Thursday here in STL or just ride in Friday like most do...Besides, this group really needs to see more Buells...John and I are going... http://home.kc.rr.com/mosilhsta/freddies.htm On the rally registration form the $45 join and ride fee is incorrect...It really is $35, as I said... See Ya! Bob |

Bob, Your missing Jason with the 2002 or 2001 yellow X1. He doesn't have internet. Sam can give you the exact details on the bike etc... Sam, Seems that things may have changed since we spoke today. My daughter seems to have somethings going on, so looks like we are going to do somemore switching of weekends. Need to talk to the little boss somemore but looks like my friday and saturday morning/afternoon have cleared. Even if I can get clearance from Heather I would still have to be back in Quincy no later than 5 or 5:30 Saturday for a friend of ours wedding reception (He's too big to argue with). I'll drop you a line and let you know whats up. Ben, I'll give you a call in regards to Ralph Waynes as soon as I get some details worked out. If I can go, what time would you be able to get away on Friday? Frank, Did I hear breakfast?? Your not talking about 4 am mcgriddles are you? LOL Keith

What is the list of riders and their bikes for? Should I be on it? aint no big deal ifn I ant suppose to be but just curious I got caught out in the cold assed rain on the way home from work Monday night about 12:00am teeth chattering cold by the time I got from Aristocrat Mercedes/Porsche to my house north of the river. Damnest thing is, the X1W sure runs good when the air is cold and dense. Amazing what a difference the temperature makes as far as throttle response and felt horsepower is. My new security duty will be the old Armco steel plant weekdays 2:00pm - 10:00pm, so it will be tough for me to make it to any Wed. night activities this fall and winter. Hoping for some nice riding days this fall and yeehaw, the deer season is upon us. |

Rusty, The list was of those that went on the Arkansas trip. Also, I noticed in your profile that have had problems with your trip odmeter and your O2 sensor going out several times in a short period of time. I have had the same two things go out on my X1 and it was caused by a faulty battery. Replaced the battery and the O2 at the same time, seemed to cure the problem. Now, I put a new O2 in each spring while I am getting the bike ready to start the new riding season. Hope some of this helps. Keith p.s. Frank, you didn;t seem to be afraid of 4 am when you were in Quincy, Whats changed? |

Ben, If I can get away, noon would be great. I really don't want to ride straight over on 36. Kinda boring. I was thinking maybe do and alphabet soup type of ride accross MO. Don't think Sam gets off until around 5 anyway. that would give us 5 hours. Keith

Keith, The Alphabet soup thing sounds kinda cool. My knowledge of routes to KC is very small, in fact I think I have gone there once and I was asleep in the back seat... Well passed out. Just like I always say though, The world is round right? we'll make it. I should have collected all my gear by then, minus tunes.. My player got trashed and I didn't know untill this morning. Guess I got some shopping to do now. Ben edited by xben9r on October 01, 2003 |

Thats kinda the way I was thinking. If we did the interstate it would take us around 3.75 hours to get to Sams house. We have all afternoon and I think we could weave our way there in 5. We aren't in any hurry. Let me try to get things straightened out with the boss this evening. Keith
