I was looking at some pics of my rear shock that I took for Bott when I noticed that the bottom of my shock isn't parallel with the top of the mounting lug on the swing arm. Now this is sitting on the side stand but still, looks crooked to me. it's not loose, but i haven't put a stand under it yet to see if it was like this when it was off of the side stand. Is this normal? Am I worried about nothing? |

I think its just the Shadow and the angle playing tricks on our eyes. |

It appears that the 'ears' at the lower end of the shock are parallel to the swingarm mount boss - that's good. The picture looks 'off', but what does it look like when you eyeball it? |

Well, leaned over on the side stand, it's crooked. But upright on both wheels it's nice and straight. I guess it's just a little bit of flex when it's on the side stand. Theirs no side to side movement in the swing arm so I'm not going to sweat it. |

The gap on the right hand side between the shock and the swing arm, looks to be parallel from top to bottom. So I would say it's just the angle of the bike and the lighting. |
