Its a "beautiful looking pipe" , but the header does not look like it has equal length primary tubes , even less so than the stock Buell header . As Albert666 says "very short" . Not good . |

Here is a example of a properly built tuned race header with equal length primary tubes = horsepower . The XBRR
Although it may be not practical for some to run a header like this , it should be the goal when building a performance header , and not go the reverse , to unequal length tubes . |

We have been selling and racing with Free Spirits pipes for years and the quality and performance is superb! OK I know I am biased but I wouldn't sell them or use them myself if they didn't work |

I think you guys talked me into it. I don't plan on doing anything more than track days, but I really like how that header looks. |

i build custom exhaust systems from scratch and my opinion is all the systems you have shown here are a waste of time if you want optimum performance, what you need is a totally split system that has across over area in the muffler.in my 25 years of experience of making custom systems and racing for 30 years the ONLY company that ever got it right was micron.if you are handy with a tig welder i can show you how to get a lot more horse power out of a standard system,it's ALOT of mucking around but i can guarentee you'll get better results than these system, lor just simply just keep hunting around for a micron system |

joebueell77, please explain your plans for modifing the stock system, i'm on the verge of diving in with the tig and making my own headers and pipe.... |
