Does anyone let the battery warm up before cranking?? Someone correct me if i'm wrong but shouldn't you turn on the ignition and let it sit for 30 seconds to a minute. wouldn't the draw from the cluster and lights warm up the battery which would increase your cca??? just a thought |

i'll try that in the morning but i am thinking that the warming effect will be offset by the low temps causing lower power to begin with. |

I know that works the Li-Po battery on my track bike. On cold mornings it won't even turn the bike over but I hit the starter for a few seconds wait 20 seconds and repeat, after 5 or 6 times the bike kicks right over. Not sure if that works for AGM batteries too. |

It was 35F on my Christmas day ride in Dallas today. I gad the Gerbing at about 75%, so cold wasn't an issue. Took a nice long ride. Almost no traffic. |
