Crswede, Can you look up the size of the top engine-to-frame mount bolts? The ones just to the rear of the pods. Thanks! |

> he's replaced just about every bolt on his race bike with titanium Nah, just the unsprung weight ones. The Ti bolts are softer, so you can't use quite as much torque on them, so they aren't a perfect solution. But if you are willing to keep an eye on them, you can save a couple of pounds on rotor, pulley, caliper and pinch bolts. They are too expensive to replace everything on the bike with... M8 Ti bolts run $10 a piece, for example. The "big" weight savings came from replacing all the bodywork fasteners. I use nylon and aluminum fasteners all through the bike, and probably saved another couple of pounds. When I had my big crash back in April, I was really pleased with how the nylon bolts sheared and managed to save a surprising amount of bodywork from sure total destruction. I've not touched the motor... it's stock. The torque spec is so low on most of the motor bolts (9-11 Nm) you could probably get away with Aluminum bolts. |

Hawk There are 4 bolts whit the same size M10x45 2 at the rear near the swing and 2 going through the brackets for the radiators. And there are 1 M10x85 on the left side, 1 M10x180 on the right side, just to the rear of the pods |
