Okay, so I just rec'd my light back from Robert. I sent in my 2 strip running light for him to convert to a full board running light.

I am stunned at the brightness of the full board of running light. Albeit it was a 4:00pm December afternoon, but the running light alone hurt my eyes it was so bright.

I understand the vast majority of you guys who have an XBlight have the 2-strip running light. If you want to go from barely noticeable to an "omg this motorcycle in front of me should adjust its tail light down cause its blinding me"--and that's just ur running light! I suggest you send in your taillight to Robert for a conversion.

I feel strongly I am more protected from rearward cagers. It's like a HID taillight.

And it s like getting a new toy for the bike and thats always fun--I love getting bike stuff in the mail.

I should have done this LONG ago.

I'm glad you liked the results.

Although, just to clarify..
The brake portion is pretty much exactly the same on both versions.

The power consumption on the running circuit is exactly the same as well, it's just spread to all the LEDs on the full board setup.

Thanks!
