No pictures, but... I am 50 years old & have had back surgery & continue to experience low back disc problems. Last weekend I rode c300 miles on my X1. When I got home I could barely stand. It was so bad I considered getting rid of the bike. Instead, I installed a set of 1 inch bar risers from American Sport Bike. What a difference! I did a quick 100 miles this AM & am happy to report I am feeling no ill effects whatsoever. Installation took less than an hour. I ordered the parts from American Sport Bike last Sunday & they arrived Friday. What great service. Chris C |

Do you have any pics? I considered doing this to my M2 as I have been recently doing alot more distance riding but didn't want to ruin the sporty look! I know an inch doesn't seem much but I love the way the Cyclone Looks! |

I'll post pic's as soon as I can. I am currently trying to fix a Blast with a suspected intake leak & that is taking all my free time at present. Sorry! Chris C |

That is on the top of my list when I get the bike back on the road next spring. |

Some of my friends have used S3T bars on their X1s to get a little more upright. I used a riser set on my dirtbike to get the bars a little higher. They are available in most shops and I'm sure they would work on a Buell -- they are made for 7/8 bars. Barry |

>>sure they would work on a Buell. Buell's and H-D have a splayed bolt pattern, most all off road bikes use a parallel hole pattern |

The risers from American Sport Bike run $41.95 + Shipping. The are designed to fit the X1. For the money & the benefits they have given me they were well worth the investment. Also, w/these risers, cable length is close to being an issue. I would hesitate to try to raise the bars any more as this could involve a lot of cable re-routing. These risers keep the "original" look of the X1 whilst making the bike more comfortable for me YMMV Chris C |

The flyscreen can be moved up approximately 2 Inches Max' but I like the way it looks now. Apologies for taking so long to post a picture. Chris C |
