accessory warehouse can get you a Dunlop rear tire for about $130 to your front doorstep. From what I hear, Sam knows a real reasonably priced placed to get it mounted. Talk to him about it. Keith

discountmotorcycletire.com has the D208 for $120ish delivered. I have no experience with this place (browser beware), but they have a decent selection. Remember, no matter how tempting it is to go with Cheng Shin (I thought they only made bicycle tires.), they don't make anything that fits. Sorry 'bout that. |

Richie- Not for me man I got no gear and no plug ins for all of that! haha (wish I did!) Paul- I can't wait! will you be at the Brag meeting next month?! How much to have one done up?? All- Thanks for the suggestions about the tires. I have found a place online that can get me a new Dunlop D207 (what I really want) on closeout shipped to my door for $105.00!! So I think I am going that route.. Just need to wait till pay day and I am going to order it. I want to order a new front to match but it will probably have to wait till the next payday. |

Derek, this will be the FIRST winter I have had plug in gear.I alway did the LAYERS OF CLOTHING,still froze! The problem with layers of clothing is riding a bike, your not generating any body heat by moving-----so your layers of clothing will eventually get cold. You can ride when its cold and survive by layering your clothing or you can ride in COMFORT by plugging in!Everybody I have talked to that has bought plug in gear has stated,"Why did I wait so long,to ride when its cold in COMFORT."Its a big investment, but if you want to ride ALL YEAR LONG,its worth it. |

Richie- some day I will spring for that kind of gear for sure! I am just not too sure on riding all year in our weather yet. Seems pretty dangerous around here with these idiots! First thing on my gear list is some of those fancy pants you and your bro were sporting around in! Seems like a pretty good investment as well. And then I need to focus on a new helmet. Mine is 3 years old and the liner is all coming apart making the skin break out on my neck! Not to mention I have been starting to hear a TON of wind noise whipping through it. Paul- Yup I remember where it is! I was out of town for the last one. No price huh? lol My father always says: "if they don't list a price You can't afford it" hahah PS. Did I miss out on any materials at the last meeting? I think I heard that the contact lists were passed out at that one..? Anything else? |

WELL THEY HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!! WORTH HARLEY DAVIDSON NORTH, KANSAS CITY MISSOURI after ordering my tires on September 13 the tires arrived on September 25, a little long for a tire order. They took a couple of chunks out of my front wheel today (right where the tire meets the wheel) while replacing my front tire. I didn't notice the damage until 45 minutes ago, while I was washing the crap off of my bike that they left on it, finger prints, brake fluid, etc. To add to that bullsh#t, they have a sign behind the service counter that states “bikes will be washed after every service” or something to that effect. I have had my bike in there over a half of dozen times and they only washed it once and the next morning after the wash there was oil all over the ground. Worthless blamed it on excess oil from the change. No way, there was a puddle underneath my bike. Plus they washed it for once and there would have been oil splatter all over my pants. Anyway, I called them 45 minutes ago and they told me that the service manager would be in tomorrow morning. We will see how this one plays out!!!! You give them big dumb animals a simple task and they F@$k that up. I already stop taking the bike to them for any mechanical issues. I just wanted my new tires put on. Take care, Brian

Ok every body. I have some other friends that have planned a ride to the Ozarks Oct. 10 and if it rains will push it to the next week. He said that he'd love to have a bunch of Buelligans on the ride. He loves all the wheelies and such. These guys are mid 50's and all good riders. Shall I say they move right along at a brisk pace. Any body interested let me know. Bob or John you guys would get along with these guy great also. They ride other brands. They are bike guys. Ping me. |
