Has anybody installed the GPR on an 1125CR yet? How is the fit? Does it block the view of the console? |

I ordered mine last week but have not received it yet... They said it would ship as soon as they were ready! |

I finally ordered mine. Spoke to a guy named Lauren; super nice guy. He said the mount came out real nice and it might ship today, if not tomorrow. This is a great price too. I remember in 2003 I ordered a Scotts damper for my R6 and the price back then was $400 in a group buy of 20. So $395 + shipping is a real good deal. I'm looking forward to finally improving the one thing the CR came up short. |

It's still not listed on their site so you have to order by phone. I wish it hasn't been snowing because I can't wait to try this thing out. |

It's on the site, under New Applications. http://www.gprstabilizer.com/app_36_buell_1125_cr Retail is $495. GPR is apparently running a sale; $100 off through December. So $395 then. Awesome. (Message edited by Dwiggs on December 05, 2010) |

Does it work with the clubman bars? Any pics with the clubman bars? |

It will work with the clubmans as the top bar clamp doesn't change. |

Literally just opened the box. Looks pretty, I'll get back to y'all real soon. I'm in California and it'll be sunny and 70 degrees all week so I'll ride it soon. (I'm sorry, but being a transplanted NJ a-hole I do tend to rub it in.) |

Quick note-nice easy instructions, and does not block your view of instruments at all. So far so good. |

Can you take close-up pics? Does it interfere with the airbox screws on the front of the airbox cover? |

WOOO HOOO!! Got mine too. Here are a few quick phone pics: Haven't got to ride it yet but as stated it dose not block view at all and install is a breeze! |

OK, back from short test ride. (Damp roads w/leaves today) 1000% better! My handlebars used to get shaky starting at around 100mph and got crazy worse until about 135 when I would figure that's enough. I had a hard time imagining doing a track day on a fast track with this. Now rock steady even on the lowest setting. Install time would be 5 to 10 minutes max if you were a real slow careful worker. And I had retorqued my steering nut about a week ago with no change at that time. So this thing works. Not the best looking addition unless you like techie looking stuff, I'm more of a minimalist, but out of your line of sight unless you look for it. No blocking of instruments and in answer to your question Kidder, the kit uses the right front airbox cover bolt to mount a small post. So.... (sorry I'm not picture-posting capable.) Pulling out the driveway you may notice a slight difference but not worth mentioning. Only install comment is you use two new longer bolts in the front of the handlebar clamp, just be sure to snug-up the back ones when you're done. So that's my happy report. Totally worth it, I'd say necessary if you go over 90mph ever. |

Its great GPR took on this project despite the low number of CR bikes out there. Kuddos for them. Personally I don't see a need for one since its not going to be a track regular. |

The quick 'right up top' is what sold me on it. Mine's an R but same deal. I actually only twist it up to 10 on the dragstrip-rock solid even with landing low wheelies on launch and upshifts. Twist it right back off after a run. Street riding I turn it right to 1 for in-town riding, and 3 for country rides. It was WELL worth the money , especially for drag racing where the bike would get really hairy when the front was skimming. I know this is a controversial topic, as correct suspension and riding technique is likely to remedy any instability-but in my racing I'm doing strange things to suspension... can't put a price on the confidence in the unit. |

Well crap, my Buell tank bag uses that airbox screw for one of its anchor points. I guess I'll have to switch to a tailbag (which I'm not a fan of). |

Duphuckincati, Can you possibly take some hi-res pics and also post a pic from a distance to see how it looks on the bike (not that I care because I think it is mod that is definitely function over form). So, like Mhpalin said, can you put the one front anchor strap for the tank bag UNDER the mount that goes to the airbox? I can post a pic if you need a little more clarification. Thanks. |
