Ran a best of 11.21 @ 124.3. 60' @ 1.87 215 suited Bone stock, no pipe no tune foot/clutch shifting winter mods: barkers pipe with e-br specific tune CR gearing swap Holeshot Electric shift 34 lbs lighter (20 from me, 14 from pipe) Any thoughts on how many 10ths I should see come off? (once I get used to passes at this configuration) this is assuming my horrible 60s DON'T improve- just wondering what to expect/hope for with machine improvements. |

If you can get your 60' time down to low 1.7 to 1.6 expect to run 10.50's or better with your new set up. Its all in the 60'foot time. |

Bott you really need to have your stock shock lowered and re valved for drag racing. That will make a big difference in your 60' which will result a better 1/4 mile. I always start the build from the chassis up. |

with that mph thats a 10.61 pass considering all things perfect. Its called the hook factor. take 1320 / mph = a estimated time or you take your time x mph = anything over 1320, closer to 1320 meaning you running better. |

I would think low to mid 10's based on your weight and provided you can keep the wheel low enough to launch. The CR gearing is going to want to stand you straight up. Joe doesn't count as he weighs in at a jockey's weight. (Message edited by puzzled on December 06, 2010) |

Is there a minimum ground clearance? Getting the weight as low as possible has a dramatic effect on weight transfer...just be sure the suspension limits the clearance, not some low hanging component...I always ran my bikes with the front modified to the minimum 2" travel spec. The more weight you can put below the centerline of the rear axle the better. Although, after a point barring running wheelie bars, the only option is a long arm...which helps keep the front on the ground, but sucks for ultimate traction. |
