Yea, not enough time and too many toys. The Uly heads out Sat, the Blast went to some friends for a first bike, so it'll remain close to home, still have my Duc so that'll be my ride for a while. Didnt want the Uly to go, but it sold while no offers on the Duc.

The straps are new in the bag, bought for backups...

Hey folks, I'm going to re-manufacture a stock Buell exhaust to something similar to the Drummer or Special Ops. I have done the research and I have the access to a welder and torch, soooo if it turns out as well as I think it will... I'm going to make more and a lot cheaper than the "other guys". GMB exhausts, nice ring to it huh? GMB (goody's modified Buell) exhausts. lol

Thanks Matt, I'm waiting on a used exhaust that I bought off of ebay, then I'm going to order the perforated inner tubing and make my own "wicked" end pipes. Pics will follow once I'm done.

Got the stock can off of ebay, made the cuts to it and now I'm waiting on the perf. core. I have done the research and nobody that i know of is doing pipes like I'm going to do. Once it's done who wants to try it? I should have it done next week sometime. I bought a mig welder and I'm working on setting up a weld shop in the man-cave.

Imagine the "fist" on the old Afro Pick. I've got the base of it done, but to make the fingers of the fist I need to add a couple of layers.

A XB12 pipe after modifications. All welded up just need to put a 45 degree tip on it, I gotta cut it before I weld it on. Then I'm gonna have the body shop paint it. It's a straight through perforated core that I bought online, stainless steel welded inside then a 2 1/8 reducer to 2" on the end. This in theory should allow good back pressure inside the hollow can but also allow good flow. That's my theory anyway. Who is game to try it?

I hooked this exhaust up to my 12 last night, it has a unique sound, not raspy or like an empty can, sort of like a drummer but much deeper tone, I would say it's like a D&D/Drummer, the pic does it no justice, the center pic is of the can without the internals, the valve is still operational for those that need to hook up to it and don't have the race ecm. The last pic is down the exhaust, it's all perforated stainless steel and welded in place. No packing inside and it doesn't sound like someone ripped out the guts and welded a cap on it.
