It doesn't matter, that was a damn good find and I enjoyed it! Excellent read! I didn't do the whole interview thing, but I got the same impression back in June this year, he's a very down to earth kinda guy and will talk to pretty much anyone about bikes. I felt bad about intruding on his time, but at the same time it was just the coolest schnizzle in the world to be there talking to him. Everyone there was the same way, Michael, Tony, Dan and a few other guys that I can't remember all the names of. Awesome time there though. |

Great interview. I live near and stopped by to get parts for my 1125 and spent 15 minutes chatting with Erik about racing. He talked about a time when he raced a Guzzi in the BOTT at Grattan MI and crashed it in the same turn I crashed my Guzzi. Turned out it was a customer bike a shop owner gave him to ride. The shop owner had instructed him to go out and win and then was so mad that he crashed he left him at the track. It was only later he found out it was a customer bike. He really is a down-to-earth icon, if that is possible. I try to buy my stuff from him to support his company's recovery. |

Thanks for posting up the interview. I still get bummed out about the whole thing. I can't wait until E-B-R gets back into the street market. |

That is an excellent interview. Some candid comments I've not seen anywhere else. |
