It am still thinking about all of those S curves. Additionally since I was one of the SLOW guys, I never felt pressured to ride beyond my limits. That made the trip fun. Keith - you sound like you are already married with the yes honey stuff. The next time you come to KC let us know and we'll tear up the town. Neill |

KCBILL, Well luck has it I guess, I worked 2 1/2 hours today on my header and got rid of the brittle part of the header. Then Leeland (welder) welded it again and it patched real well. sorry for the false alarm so to speak! I would be interested in the pipe and muff though for future use. Lets talk bike night!! Thanks again Bill Paul |

Where is everyone going to be at Wed. night this week? I am going to try and be out around town tonight, may end up at Frankie D's at least a run through there. I ran into a kid from Weston yesterday, he and his dad both ride Buells. He had an X1W just like mine in the back of his pickup, told me a tale of woe about having a valve train self destruct on the front cylinder and take out a piston. He got it fixed but was getting tired of having to fix stuff on his bike. He said his dad's bike was a good bike and performance mods he had done were really awsome. Catch you guys around town tonight.

Mobbers... I won't be able to come out and play tonight. Beyond not getting any sleep to speak of for the last three nights... and needing to get the last load out of the apartment and get it cleaned up to hope to get part of my deposit refunded. My house looks like a terrible industrial accident at a cardboard box factory!!! If I ever move again... I am selling the house... contents included!!!!! |

Won't be at Bike Night Either tonight. Possibly for the rest of the season. The tire thing has her down and I don't have the $$ right now to take care of it. She is needing some other maintenence done as well as recall's so I think riding season ended a little early for me. Atleast we had an awesome trip as the last hoorah! Frank- The swing arm upgrade we had talked about may still be a possiblity. Waiting to find out. Will need to get her to you before the nasty white stuff starts hitting us! (shudder) Bill- You going to be around this weekend in the afternoon? I need to get you back your gear! I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate it! Let me know when is a good time for you! |

Paul, Could you possibly build a new bracket that mounts the rear turn signals to the bike? The wife dropped a bicycle on one of my turn signals last night, and broke the mount. Neill |
