The exhaust is the little canister under the white/silver footpeg support bracket. It says it's not an E.B.R. product, but a bike put together by Pegasus Racing Team, the European team who wiped up the field with the 1190 last season. Even if Erik had put it together...I wouldn't expect the new patent to be put into production for a year or two at least. |

Awesome! Very minimalist, and it should have some amazing performance. This seems like the ultimate expression of the ideal of a bike that's all engine ... with only enough of the other bits and pieces to make it functional. It seems like a fairly simple idea, but you don't need to look any further than that other CR concept we just saw (which looked pretty cool itself, but doesn't look nearly as good as this one IMHO) to see how easy it is to go too far with some styling concepts. I remember when I was looking at that one, it looked cool, but not . . . quite right. Now I know what I wanted it to look like. I wanted it to look more like the Typhon. Awesome! Over-designed:

Well. the future does look bright I should have my 09 CR ,that I paid full price for to HD, paid off in time to get one of these when Erik Buell Racing puts it into production. I love my CR, but I might part with it for a new one like that. Rick |

Quick photochop. I think I like the lightning style headlights better.

I agree Tibman260. The one on the right is about as close to perfect as it can be. If that front mudguard were scaled down a little and I was on it it would be perfect! |

Put an S1 head light & "fairing" and we would be in business. I was never really a fan of the dual headlight setups. |

think there is any chance of modifying an 1125r to look like this? the thinner radiators to eliminate the 1125's bulges maybe?? |

Yep, everything is available through Erik Buell Racing, but it is expensive for the setup. (Message edited by Froggy on November 29, 2010) |

I think I like the CR front light fairing a bit more. However, both styles are badass! |

AST shocks are made in Holland by Ronnie who hangs out on UKBEG. I've got one on my very sorted X1. It's the best thing I've ever bolted onto a bike. My 1125 will be getting one in the spring time |

If a couple of the articles are to be believed, they may start marketing kits to convert your existing bike - now that would be sweet ! |

Sweet if you have the dough to do so. You know that kit is going to be expensive as hell. I wish I had the money to convert the R into an 1190 Still, I am glad there is some progress being made and I do hope there is a conversion kit coming out in the near future. Can't wait to see the production bike.... |

I assume that they are only talking about body kits as they also mentioned the possibility of including XBs as well - I'm sure there would be a good market for the seat/tail kit and airbox cover. Would be nice if they could redesign the existing radiator covers though as a whole new radiator kit will probably cost more than the bike's now worth ... |

I can see a top end kit, pistons, cylinders and possibly ported or differently shaped heads as a kit, but it won't be a cheap deal. $4k? Just pistons and cylinders but use the stock heads, maybe a little cheaper, just speculating on pricing, maybe $2k? The question after that is, with the pipe size on the 1125 exhaust, will it be enough to take advantage of it or would you be *required* to go to the full race exhaust? If the B2 was able to hit 156 *crank* hp (ballpark figure) then what is the real limitation of the stock headers? My personal goal on an 1125 with stock headers was 140+ hp at the wheel. The 1190 is billed at 185+ hp, but thats with *all* the trick bits and pieces. A kit to convert an 1125, I could see 160+ without a lot of work, relatively speaking. Degreed cams, everything blueprinted, it would be a bit more $$ though. ECM reprogramming would be a must also. |

According to the article in Cycle World, the Barracuda 2 would have initially kept the 1125cc displacement, but would have added titanium valves, different cams with higher lift and providing staggered opening of the intakes to promote combustion chamber swirl, and smaller throttle bodies. The combination supposedly gave more horsepower and better low speed response. I'd think those parts could be provided much cheaper than a full 1190 kit, and might be more desirable to the majority of 1125 riders. No doubt a reprogrammed ECM would also be required. |

the 1125 has enough power for me i want to make my front end like that more of a street fighter look with thinner radiators and fairings |
