Here is a link to some need Speedweek photos by Dave Burnett. Outstanding stuff, a lot shot with a Holga fisheye for a soft focus effect used very well. http://www.davidburnett.com/portfolio.html |

I really like these, he captures some of the strangeness of the place. |

Let me know what you think. Very much a common style throughout the site. |

To be honest Dave, I think the fuzzy "fisheye" thing got a bit old. The eye was good but the same effect on each photograph got a bit old. There were some shots it was the perfect effect, others, not so much... Keep in mind that I'm the guy that takes lots of pictures and once in a while a real photograph.... Brad |

I think I've learned a bit and gleaned some good ideas. I'm on the verge of breaking down and buying the King of all portrait lens which has a defocus ring allowing Bokeh to be adjusted in both the foreground and background. These are done very nicely. But I'm with Brad . . . when every photo uses the effect it tends to detract from the subject. Bonneville is a playground for fascinating photos and these are really spectacular. |

There is nothing better than seeing Buellers (great Buellers) set a record. |
