I'm sure I'm no where near the top but mine's got 11610 Miles right now. It's an 08 that I bought in May of 09 from dealer stock. |

Not even close to the champ, or the champ's apprentice. I picked my '09 CR up in the dead of winter '09 here in MD (mid-Dec) and I have 8,500 miles on her now over this season. Yesterday marked my first riding season under my belt, with near 11,000 miles total (had my '03 XB9R for about three months before I sold her with 3,000 miles added to her Odo from me). And I have no intention of slowing up ... I want to get my 12,400 mile service done before next riding season ... I think that'll be easily attainable by Jan-Feb. |

Apparently, I am not even the apprentice's apprentice! I have 10,231 on her now. All happy miles. |

42,000 on the track bike. She's getting a fresh motor! 4,000 on the "B" bike 10,000 on the street bike I just sold. All are 1125r models. But... I'm not the champ. There's a guy in the pacific northwest above 60,000 miles now. I'm close to him in total seat miles, but it's been across several 1125r bikes. His is all on one! |

But... I'm not the champ. There's a guy in the pacific northwest above 60,000 miles now. I'm close to him in total seat miles, but it's been across several 1125r bikes. His is all on one! Ooh, I'm [in]famous! I have about 61,000 miles on my 2008 Buell 1125R which I bought on Jan 15th, 2008. This was about 1.25 days ago and I've put over 80 miles on the bike since the pic was shot. And I put about half of the 17,500 or so miles on the 2007 H-D V-Rod I bought for my wife on Nov 30th, 2007. She has crashed it twice, so she doesn't get to ride it any more. Yeah, I like to ride a bit. Last Winter was fun. -18F was the coldest I rode in. I decided to buy some Gerbings Hybrid heated gloves after that. They're a nice augment to my heated grips (which only half-way work)! I think Zac4Mac has me beat on that front though; I believe he rode in -20F or -22F... Which was it Z? No you're the champ there too. Coldest I've seen on Loretta has been +7F. Glad it was only a 20 min ride. You're an animal Paul!!! Z (Message edited by zac4mac on November 05, 2010) |

Holy hell Cham...-8??? I've only ridden in 28F here in houston for about an hour. Wasn't fun but wasn't bad either. I can't imagine -8. That's when you need special clothes!! I've got 4200 on my '08R. About 2000 of that are track miles. I have a really short commute to work so I'm lucky in that department...and Houston doesn't inspire any sort of "get out and ride" feelings. This city is shit. But we DO have a lot of tracks!!! Be safe racking up those miles. |

Drawkward: It was -18F actually... And -16F the two days prior. I have a nice FirstGear TPG cold/wet-weather riding suit that works quite well. The only difficulty I had was with my finger tips getting so cold that they were numb for the first 30 minutes I was at work. I work in IT and it kind of made typing feel strange. My commute is 35 miles each way. I've been working here since Nov 30th, 2009. So yeah, that's why I was willing to drop $400 on a pair of heated gloves. They work very nice! Looks like they're $100 cheaper now, too. Figures. |

Very Impressive Chameleon. Quick question how many valve checks have you done with those miles? I got 11,000 on my 09. havent been able to ride since June due to finances and my bike needs a valve check amongst other things. |

It is so weird looking at the odo on my CR since it only have 4500 miles on it. The Honda F3 sitting next to it has 124,500 on it, 100k of that I did - in the city. The CR feels like I just opened the wrapper. |

I had the valves checked once, a little late, at 13,204 miles. They required no adjustment. I have not had them checked since. An independent bike tech whom I trust gave me a lengthy lesson on valve design and advantages/disadvantages of each type. He indicated that with the design used in the 1125R that the first check is most critical. |

Thank you Chameleon. That's what I thought about the first check. Good to know that your bike is really holding up. With no other valve checks that is really a bonus considering its really hard to tell anyway because the motors are so noisy as is. |

street bike, 2009 1125r 8600 miles track bike, 2007 xb12r 3700 miles Would be more on the 1125r but the stator went south again, after the recall was done. This one only made it 2000 miles. |

Damn RT, are you ridding the track with those tires? I am on my second set and have just over 10200 on her now. Tires are too expensive to continue to go through them so quickly. I don't want that tire bill. Ouch! |
