im contemplating putting a 190 rear on my track rims next time around. i currently am running the pirelli PRO slicks in the 180 flavor, but ive been told by a few friends that i could get a bigger contact patch at full lean and therefore be able to apply more throttle earlier. im still running belt drive BTW. im not sure if that would interfere with the extra width. doesnt seem like it would just by looking at it anyone doing it? thoughts? |

I can't speak from a tech/track standpoint but I run a 190 rear in a Q2 flavor and have no fitment issues whatsoever. |

You need a larger wheel to run Pirelli 190. A 5.75 or 6.0. A Pirelli 190 on a 5.5 will have an odd round profile, and actually reduce your contact patch. Don't believe me? Fit one up and compare it to another Buell wheel with a 180. The Dunlop 190 are more like 185.. it's a "small" 190. |

Agree 190 Q2 will mount up nicely... |

I think you will find a slower turn in with the wider rear tire...one down side, well, at least I would consider it a down side... |

I've used a Dunlop 211 NTEC in 190/55 at a few trackdays with what I feel was good success. No issues with fitment. |

I have a new Michelin Power Race Medium Soft in 190/55 if you're looking for a track tire in that size. I bought it for my MV but I put it back on the street already so I won't be needing it. PM me if interested. |

As set up at the Buell Works: The 1125RR and the 1190RR run 190/55 ZR17 Corsa III on a 6" rim. The 1125R DSB runs the 190/55 ZR17 Corsa III on a 5.5" rim. Just sayin |
