Search didn't help, or maybe I'm using the wrong words. Has anyone put the long swingarm, and forks on a standard XB frame? I think oil lines need to be custom at that point, and the longer belt....... What else needs to happen? Does it handle worth a hoot with that suspension on my frame? Thanks in advance. |

xtremelow has done it it can be done seems to handle just fine lines may or may not need to be done. if you already have the new style swingarm they may match up, not sure though I beleive you will need to fab a bracket because the Ss shock mounts in a different location on both the frame and swingarm than the rear shock on your bike also note that the late Ss is taller than the early Ss, xtreme lowered his bike like an Scg, not sure how it would work tall, I think standard height would be ideal IMO but I'm no expert |

Yeah, it would be a costly mod. I'll put an S top tree on there, and go from there. Maybe just the longer swingarm. hmmmmm |

What are your goals? The 06/07 SS used the same front forks as the Firebolt, so you would only need a rear shock, swingarm, belt, and possibly oil lines. |

My goal is the longer wheelbase, so yes, just the swingarm. Now to find one! |
