Hey Tank, I'm pretty sure that there ain't no such animal as a tall seat from 08 or newer Uly. My understanding is that the tall seat was the standard fit on the 06 model only (IE: the original Uly). I owned a 07 Uly and it was lower. I know that for sure, because I found a guy with a 06, and traded (there was also an, optional, lower seat). That makes three possibilities: 06: tall 07+: standard (IE: lower than 06) 07+: low (IE: lowest) Someone correct me, if I've got this wrong, and, if someone has a 06 (tall) seat, I'm hunting for it!! Xrated. Yes the tall seat was redesigned and changed on the black 08-10 seats from the long seam that ran the length of the seat on both sides to the seam that is on the 08-10 seat at the front. It lists for $110.00 on the Buell Web site and I would love to try one. | ||

Tank - thank you. That is good news! I had misunderstood all along, and was thinking that the tall seats had only ever been made in 2006. You've given me hope that my local HD dealer may be able to source a brand new one for me. I'm gonna hit the phones.... al |
