I want to put a tool kit together to carry in my sling bag. What would be the best tools to put in it? I cant see spending $100 for one through buell, when I have extra tools at home to put this together. I just am not sure what tools to put in it. |

1/4 ratchet and 3/8 adapter, some sockets and bits, a couple of wrenches, extra intake boot, a spare plug, a tire plugger, a multi tool, and a mini air canister, some electrical tape, and a flask of oil. GT - JBOTDS! EZ |

I was going to join brag, but cant see doing it when the dealers around here suck, and there isnt realy a brag group here that I know of. |

AAA has a motorcycle rider available. There is another thread here at badweb that has discussed this topic. Everytime I use a tool, I put a spare in the on bike toolkit. The Blast needs surpisingly few tools and the ones you cant take with you, you wouldnt be doing those repairs at the side of the road anyway. I dont bother with ratchets and try to use as many multi purpose tools as possible (remember-this is an emergency tool kit, not a maintenance kit).Everything I need fits under the seat except for the can of fix-a-flat (I just dont have much faith in the miniture canisters). I would also add 'zip ties' to EZ's list. |

What would make a good Blast carry-on tool kit? |

Honestly I really like the service kit HD/Buell sells, it has everything you need to work on it and you can take out what you wouldnt use on the road. |

That's pretty pricey for a few wrenches, power pliers, and a bag. I guess the main thing would be knowing just which ones to include. |

Comes to about $4 a tool. If you bought them all individually, thats what it would cost. I'd have to hope that the tools are better than Harbor Fright quality though! |

Buell Riders Adventure Group. Same thing as HOG, a factory sponsored riding club. But they did away with BRAG (if I remember correctly) about 2 years before HD closed Buell down. |
