I was on the interstate, and without no warning light the bike just died... so I check everything and it was out of gas. So I refueled and now its saying I'm out of gas with a full tank.........engine light comes on ....and error message ......fuel system low....... so I'm taking it in tomorrow.......oh. and when the bike is off I can still hear the fuel pump cut on every 10 sec. This was before the out of gas thing..... |

I wouldn't worry about it, the code will eventually go away when the system senses fuel. The pump, after the bike is off, is priming the fuel system to prevent vapor lock. All the 1125's do it under the correct condition. |

Yeah, but what he's describing --- cycling on and off ad infinitum --- is not normal. It happened to my bike once or twice. To this day, I'm not sure why, but I got it to stop by restarting the bike a couple times. |

Depends how long it does it for... The manual states it will do it for 10 minutes post-ride - that's normal. Also - how many miles have you done since filling? You need to do a few before the LFL resets... You need to read your manual... |

Marco: If you read his post again you'll see he doesn't say anything about it going on and on and on to infinity. What happened to your bike was probably within the 10 minutes it can happen, but it just felt like forever. That's my guess. |

I also ran out of fuel today without the warning light coming on . I'm almost out of fuel again and everything seems to be OK. 09 14k. |

Warning to track guys- if your light comes one, get off the track and dont try to do one more lap. Mine came on and it was close to the end of the session so I thought I could make it...hell the track is only 1.9 miles I think. Well, 1 and a half laps later I was bs'n with a corner worker watching people ride. oh yea dont forget about getting your balls busted for the rest of the day about it too...hey it works, I'll never do that again. |

I've actually had my bike start to stall, THEN the gas light came on. It managed to sputter the last mile into pit and barely make it -- giving me a little bit of gas and power going up hill, and stalling going down. On the track, the gas light isn't a warning light, it's the notification you are about to be pushing the bike! |

I will let you all know what the dealer say.....I drop it off with them.....hold up ........on my way to the dealer I started the bike and engine and fuel light comes on. So I wanted to just use back brakes since I never really use them anyway...so ok then I notice the brakes dragging so I looked back and yep they are sticking big time ....turning red ...so I was on the bridge tunnel ....I tried to make it off but they was too hott so I had to pull over and wait for 10mins to cool off so I could get them apart ......wow what a day |
