Here are the pictures of the Cycle Sound System installed on my son's XB12R. The black speakers on the black fairing blend very well. They normally come in chrome with black grills. Thanks for looking!

Ok, I have to ask, how does it sound? Is it good for just around town, or does the amp get them to a listening level at highway speeds? |

What kind of exhaust do you have on there? Would you be able to hear it over anything louder than the stock pipe? |

Wow! That install looks great! If I could install them that clean on the Uly I'd place my order tomorrow! I'm also curious how they sound at cruising speed. |

I have the bigger ones mounted in the tank bag pointing up at my face on the Uly and can hear them up to about 70 mph. At lower speeds the can be quite loud. I'm running the stock exhaust. |

hahahaha I gotta buddy with a ZX6R with similar setup "Rolling Jukebox" is what he calls it. How loud is it at say 110 through a windy west virginia mountainside? |

We went for a ride this last weekend and my son is extremely happy with them. At freeway speeds (70+) he can still hear the speakers clear. At highway speeds (45-60) they are very loud and clear. I can even here them riding in front of him. He is running a Jardine exhaust which is loud and sounds great and a full face helmet. Just wish we had them 2 weeks ago before our road trip to Reno, Nv. |

I don't mean to sound cynical but why not just use earphones in you helmet, cheap fast and way more effective especial now that mp3 players are so prevalent, I remember rocking the walkman back in the day??????!!!! |

Since you asked. Earphones are illegal while riding a motorcycle in most states. Its a pain to try to get the helmet on without pulling one of them out your ear. Some helmets make the earphones very uncomfortable. If you don't find the perfect size earbuds for your ears it will make your ears hurt in no time. |

i have ridden across the country and have been pulled over with earphones in my ear in almost every state worth entering and have never been dinged on earphones and believe me i do alot of wheelie ridding and tend to really piss off the cops, if they could have given me a ticket i am sure they would have! Just seems easier and how are they to even know if you have them in your ears it could be a handsfree bluetooth for all they know most cops are fairly clueless when it comes to bikes. |

I've never had a cop say anything about the headphones and I think as long as I can hear my engine over my music it's not really making a difference. but just to be fair, you really shouldn't use earbuds for prolonged uses. they've been heavily linked to the rise in deafness from how they sit in your ear and pound on the eardrum. |

I have the same iPod and mounted it via velcro as well, however I did it on the left fuse cover, easy reach from the bar and clean looking without being on the triple tree. Just a thought.... |
