Can you recall what 1/10ths or less you knocked off with the CR ratio? I'm hoping for: -1 for gear swap -2 for airshift (I have a non-functional left ankle so footshifting is a slow strange process) -2 for pipe and E BR ecm (2010 warranty motor so I ran BONE stock this year) Am i pipe-dreaming? |

Bott what are you running now ET wise and in what configuration? Times are going to be different for all of us. As Mike1125 and I have been talking about, our bikes are all similar but yet vastly different in one way or another. My single biggest gain came from the air shifter -4. To be fair I was previously clutch shifting. Next was gearing. I dropped from 1.65's to 1.51/1.52 with my 60' times. This was all in hot humid weather. I recently dropped one more gear for a 2.92 but have yet to run it. I can not comment on what the bike runs without the bars as I never made a single pass without them. Joe and Mike could chime in with stock wheelbase times. I have been working on getting the bike through the traps with no more left in fifth gear. I'm thinking this will net me the best times. Your -5 for total package is not unrealalistic. |

yea, I was hoping to find someone who had basically back to backs with r to cr gearing. I would love to see a -4 with a shifter, and probably will. I also am using clutch/throttle drop to shift and now that you mention it I found slips from 09 when I had a shifter. Was mostly 3/10ths quicker with that setup than this years foot shifting. Hard to say though- last year I also had a pipe and tune, but was cutting 2.0+ 60s and had practically no seat time. Current configuration is showroom stock. 60' = 1.884 660'= 7.316 @ 99.40 1320' = 11.296 @ 121.90 Corrected alt. = 2156 220# suited I can run that like clockwork. 5 starts with this setup- 1 semi's 1 runner-up 1 class win. I know I need better 60s,but lack seat time. Since the season is over, through winter I'm doing: Electric Holeshot shift D&D slip on E-BR ecm CR gear swap rider weight loss (this will be the hardest) |
