I got my 9R on Wednesday and could not be happier. Of course I was offered next to nothing for my M2 whereas you probably made a 15% return on your Dyna, but that is life. Remember, that there is no going back now. Even my M2 feels like a touring bike now in comparison. If you want to trade engines because you think the 12 is too powerful, give me a shout |

My dealer just got the Race Kit in from Buell for the 12, Im not sure if I should grab it or not....Any thoughts? Jack Toronto XB12S - Black, OH YEAH! |

Leeaw... mind giving a ballpark figure for what M2 tradeins are going for? I talked briefly with a dealer, and their first offer was 3500 for my 2000 M2 with 17k miles. I did not pursue it as I was not that motivated, I might have been able to get them up a little. That is a really low number, but not out of line with comparable bikes of the vintage (SV-650, ZR-7, etc). |

2000 M2's will get you in the neighborhood of $3-4,000 depending on condition, options, and what you're trading for. I was offered up to $4,000 on my 23,000 mile 2000 M2, WileyCo exhaust, X1 turn signals, c/f air filter assy, aux. lights, Ventura rack, aluminum dash tach kit, DCBRAG U.S.Flag Buell tank letter overlays. I think it was the letters that did it even though the appraiser said it was the options. They wanted too much for what I was interested in so I passed. |

I was made a rediculously low offer that they made, as they did not want my bike because they are moving. It was like $2500, but I did not want to trade it in either. I am hope it does not sell, so I can keep it, but I shooting for $4000. I had little bargaining power since the price was so low on the new Firebolt. Either they charge you too much for a new bike or give you too little for yours. Glad they did not ask me what I wanted to pay monthly. I hate that question! Bet I could have got over $4000 if I was going for a V-rod at way over MSRP. Buell's seem to be hit and miss in terms of selling one. |

Close Glitch...Buell was my re-entry into Harley. Damn, love them both. One for adrenaline and the other for testosterone. Can get both fixes in one day. Now, if only one of the two marques would make a dual purpose/adventure bike (and it better not be with the Blast engine) I would be in Hog Heaven! |

I would have kept going but I coould not see much of anything in front of my, and I had to take my kids to Toys 'R Us. Have a couple of kids and see how much riding time you lose. My wife now rides her own bike and we have only ridden together once, and that was to dinner for our anniversary. |
