I'm moving to an E.B.R race exhaust. Won't need my Torque Hammer for this bike any more. Any reasonable suggestions on what I should ask for it? If I have to take too much of a loss on it, I may save it for the 1190RS I plan on buying when it's available. |

How much for the headers? |

Haven't thought about selling the headers. I need to decide whether or not this bike will ever see the street again. Let me think about this. BTW do you know that E.B.R sells '09 headers in their Used & Take-Offs section? |

Doug - are you doing dyno tuning or running the E_B_R Race ECM for their exhaust. I would be curious what the measured difference from your current setup to the full E_B_R if you get such info. Let us also know the volume difference. Thanks |

Yes I am wanting headers on a budget so when the engine rotation time comes around I'll have a ceramic coated pair waiting. |

Al at American Sport Bike has them coated and will do a core. You can buy the coated ones and return yours once off. |

Jeff, no plans for dyno comparisons. It would be interesting but can't work it out. Boogi, I'd rather keep the pipe for my 1190RS than give it away. |

Therein lies the next big question. Will they be the same headers as the 1125 or will they be larger? If its the same size, that could be a good thing for someone like myself. Instant high performance market. That's got me wondering what my stuff is really capable of with the right motor. This could get interesting. |

Duggram, why the switch? Erik Buell Racing is suggesting I do the same for my track bike. I like the TM, the way it looks and sounds, so is there really enough of a difference in performance to shell out 17 big ones for the Erik Buell Racing race exhaust? |

A loss of 8-10 lbs, pick up maybe 10 hp? Plus they sound good. I think the entire race system weighs maybe 12 lbs, headers included. |

D, I don't think there's 10 HP difference. I don't know for sure, but not that much. Weight is a consideration. I want that ~170# race bike. The real reason I made the switch is the size of the primaries. If you make any mods to your engine, they will always produce more with the larger race pipe primaries, or so I've been told by quite a few folks. And, yes it was worth it to me. |

There is one more reason. Because E.B.R setup the DSB bikes last year, they have all that is required for that configuration. Before my next race my bike will be setup, except for the ram air panels which I hope will be available in November, just like the RMR bikes were last year. |

Have you decided yet on the headers? :-) |

Dannybuell, I don't want to separate the headers out. What if I want to put my bike back on the street, I would need them. |
